The work, plainly

What we do

My team and I have spent more than a decade in software development and design — websites, apps, and the business systems behind them. Here's what we build, without the sales language.

Websites that earn their keep

We design and build websites around what your customers actually come to do — find you, trust you, and get in touch — not what looks good in a pitch deck.

Built properly, they load fast, cost pennies a month to host, and are never locked to a platform you can’t leave. You own the code and every account from day one.

Then we wire in analytics that tell you something useful: visits, enquiries, and where they came from — reported plainly, no jargon, no dashboard you have to remember to open.

Being found — on Google, and in AI answers

SEO gets you found by the people already searching for what you sell. We do the technical audit and then actually make the fixes — titles, descriptions, structure, Search Console — rather than handing you a report and a shrug.

GEO — generative engine optimisation — is the newer half of the job. More of your customers ask ChatGPT and Google’s AI Overviews than ever ask page two of the search results. We structure your site and your business information so AI engines can read you, cite you, and recommend you.

Apps, from idea to both stores

We design apps screen by screen around the job to be done — simple enough that nobody needs a manual — with a clickable prototype you can try before anything is built.

Then we build once, for both iPhone and Android, from a single codebase — so you pay for one build, not two. Submission to both app stores is handled, and ASO (app store optimisation) makes sure the app gets found and downloaded once it’s there.

An app is not done when it ships. Operating systems update, stores change their rules, devices misbehave — which is why our app plans include a proper year of maintenance, priced honestly on the homepage.

Business systems and AI that pull their weight

This is where we started, and it’s still the heart of it.

Simplified solution stacks. Most small businesses pay for twice the software they need. We review every tool, recommend the fewest that do the job, and wire them together properly — bought in your name, at cost, never marked up.

AI agents, wired in safely. Reading and drafting replies from your own product manuals and order data, sorting what matters from what doesn’t, flagging the unusual. Nothing reaches a customer without one of you pressing send — that isn’t a setting, it’s how it’s built.

Daily automations. The repetitive admin — order chasing, filing, reports that arrive on their own with one recommendation and one figure that changed. Hours back, every single week.

And underneath it all, the unglamorous work that gets noticed first: email on your own domain that actually works, documents in shared folders instead of one person’s inbox, and a backup we restore in front of you to prove it’s real.

Then we train you and hand over

Short sessions, written guides you can put on the wall, and a follow-up to fix whatever you got stuck on. One person on your side gets named as the keeper of the documentation — that’s what stops it going stale the month we step back.

What we don’t do

Being clear about this saves everyone time.

  • Bookkeeping, VAT returns, statutory accounts. A bookkeeper or accountant does those. We build the plumbing that feeds them.
  • Legal, tax or financial advice. Not qualified, won’t pretend.
  • Marketing campaigns and ad management. We’ll report on what’s happening. Running it is someone else’s job.
  • Replacing systems that work. If the software you run the business on does its job, it stays. We build around it.
  • On-site IT support, hardware, phone systems.

How the work runs

Every service on the homepage has a price and a clear scope — click the ⓘ on any card to see exactly what it includes.

One-off projects are exactly that: specced, agreed in writing, built, delivered, done. If a job is bigger than the published scope, it gets specced and quoted before anything starts — no guesswork, no surprise invoices.

12-month plans bundle the build with a year of us on hand: fixes always included, tweaks and small improvements month by month, and someone to call who already knows how everything works.

It starts with a free half-hour call. We’ll ask about six questions and tell you honestly whether there’s enough here to be worth doing.
